YouTube Video: Can A Person See God? An LDS Perspective On The Nature Of God

Upon visiting an LDS Church Examiner website edited by Greg West, I discovered a video which discusses the perspective about the nature of God as presented by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It effectively rebuts the closed canon ideal currently held by much of the rest of organized Christianity. You can review my previous post explaining the LDS belief in plurality of Gods for even more background. The video reveals that while there are four Biblical verses stating that man cannot see God, there are 12 verses which affirm man can see God.

The video is entitled "Can A Person See God":

Note that Latter-day Saints now believe the God which appeared to man in Old Testament scenarios is actually Jehovah, who would be born into the world as Jesus Christ in the meridian of time. The Father, Elohim, is not known to have appeared unto anyone in Old Testament Israel.

The video is one of many hosted on the SpamLDS YouTube channel. SpamLDS stands for the Society for the Prevention of Anti-Mormonism, and their mission is to "defeat anti-Mormon hatred and bigotry with knowledge and humor". Since they appear to be a serious pro-LDS website, their link will go up on my sidebar for future reference.
