Over $30,000 Pledged To The Family Of Slain LDS Bishop Clay Sannar In Visalia, California So Far; Goal Is $60,000

Update September 2nd: Donations have now reached $60,405.00.

In the wake of the slaying of Clay Sannar, the bishop of the Visalia (CA) 2nd Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a blogger who's never met the family has set up a pledge page where people can pledge donations to the bishop's family. Connor Boyack, the editor of Connor's Conundrums, organized the effort, which has now reaped over $30,000 as of this post, and you can get the necessary information at the following link:

Or if you prefer, you may send a snail mail donation to the following address:

The Sannar Family Trust Fund
PO Box 3328
Visalia, CA 93278

Or for those who live in California's Central Valley, contributions may also be made in person at any Citizens Business Bank branch in Visalia, Tulare, Porterville, Fresno, Madera, McFarland or Bakersfield.

Boyack's efforts have attracted media publicity from KSTU Channel 13 in Salt Lake (Boyack lives in nearby Lehi):

Bishop Sannar leaves behind a wife and six sons, ranging from 14 years of age to just three months. All funds donated will be sent to Sannar’s wife for use in funeral arrangements, or for other needs she and her family has during this difficult time.

For those who have questions about Connor Boyack's bonafides, numerous people have vouched for his character and integrity HERE.
