Here's an inspiring video where Elder Jeffrey Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve relates the Prophet Joseph Smith's own testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon just shortly before his martyrdom. The fact that, even as he sensed he was marching into the jaws of death awaiting him at Carthage, Joseph Smith still refused to deny the Book of Mormon constitutes a powerful testimony of its truth.
